Today was easily one of the most exciting filming days we’ve had. From the moment we got together, everything just felt fun and effortless. We started the day by driving around, listening to music, and talking about everything and anything. It didn’t even feel like work; we were just a group of friends enjoying the process. Being able to multitask between having fun and doing work was the best strategy to use with the situation we were in. Even though we had a film to shoot, we took our time and made sure to enjoy every moment. Once we got to our location, we couldn’t stop laughing at how unprepared we actually were. Somehow, we always figure things out as we go, and today was no different. Setting up shots was hilarious because we kept making jokes and getting distracted. Even with all the chaos, we managed to get some amazing footage. The best part was that no one took anything too seriously. We just had fun with it. After filming, we drove around some more, stopping at random places just to talk. There’s something about car rides with friends that makes conversations so much better. We talked about life, school, and the overall film project. It felt good to take a break from everything and just be in the moment. By the end of the day, I realized that this was exactly why I enjoy filmmaking. It’s not just about the final product; it’s about the memories that are made along the way. Today reminded me that sometimes, the best days are the unplanned ones. I know we’ll look back on this and laugh at all the small moments that made it special.

   I am excited about making this film because the concept of a funny scene joining a secret government organization with a darkly comedic tone has a lot of potential for both action and humor. The mix of Men in Black’s alien-hunting movie and Deadpool's comedy, self-aware attitude would allow me to explore themes of identity and secrecy within many unknown organizations. It has many possibilities for visually dynamic, high-stakes action sequences combined with sharp humor, which would make it appealing to a wide audience. On the other hand, crafting a character with the right balance of humor, charm, and tough-guy persona would require careful writing and performance. There’s also the potential challenge of making the alien encounters fresh, without resorting to overly familiar tropes.
